In ESN we stand for the international dimension of life, which allows us to understand our surroundings from much broader and more diverse perspectives.

That is why the team of volunteers that make up ESN Barcelona UPF are open minded, we are passionate about discovering and exploring, and managing to interact with our environment in such a way that we can break down the barriers that are often pre-established.

Traveling is our way of getting to know places, cultures and people and rediscovering ourselves in order to truly discover the world in which we live.

Returning home with a backpack full of experiences, and long thoughts between pictures and new food to try, makes us grow personally  and develop more critical thinking. It is there when we truly understand the importance of welcoming, just as people have made us feel welcomed when we were far away.

ESN Barcelona UPF works to create spaces for cultural exchange, under the premise of tolerance, accepting each other and learning from everyone, betting on cooperation in the integration of international students in our day-to-day life in Barcelona.

In the end, we are students helping students to do what we love when we travel: get to know, integrate and enjoy the local culture.
